The ParaMatildas is Australia’s first international football team for women and girls with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or symptoms acquired from stroke. These young women are changing the national football landscape, breaking down barriers and showing what women with disability can achieve.
The Ottomin Foundation commenced its support of the ParaMatildas from the moment the team was launched on 7 March 2022. This momentous unveiling against the backdrop of the Sydney Opera House introduced to the public the new squad of inspiring young women, with a passion, drive, and opportunity to play football at the highest level. The ParaMatildas is currently the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) top ranking team.
