The wild Sydney weather did not dampen the enthusiasm of attendees at the 2021 Taronga Challenge which took place on Saturday 27 November 2021 despite the city’s inclement weather. The 2021 Derby, an annual fundraising event for the zoo, proceeded with a slightly modified program which involved table teams taking on multiple challenges all with the aim to achieve the lauded title of the 2021 Winners!
It was a fabulous event and a totally wild evening of challenges. As the prestigious title-holder of the 2020 Taronga Team Challenge Winners, the Ottomin Foundation members, were unfortunately unsuccessful in bringing it home for a consecutive year, but were able to provide a much-needed donation of $10,000 to help protect the platypus from the brink of extinction.
